Guess I shouldn’t have hyped this beer up so much that it gets a special release day. Lol

So this is basically "Tankova" right?

As mentioned already, proper Mlìko pours in a Czech mug are an actual thing. Tube shots are just a "fun" and gimmicky thing not take as seriously. You can't do a proper pour in a Stange.

I could be wrong, but I believe at least a few beers/lines are served directly from the tanks. So, I’d say yes.

While visiting many brewpubs I have had many beers served from the bright (brite) tanks. Will these businesses now call these beers tankovna beers?

    Cheers!

I just hope if they have enough on at one time that they call it a tap Tank over....

Would you be willing to drink from inside the tank?

Matt is correct, all the Lukr pours come direct from the lagering tanks. The back bar faucet pours are kegs. We typically have four Czech beers in fermentation, four Czech beers lagering and four Czech beers serving (eight lagering tanks total). It's very rare a non-Czech style goes on the Lukr.

So are your Czech beers that are served directly from tanks the same concept that Sacred and Profane will be doing? Are these brite tanks?

Brienne touches on the Brighton setup, from the Graining in podcast last year, which likely influenced the Biddeford setup: Horizontal lagering tanks with serving lines to sidepulls…Tank Pub/Tankové Pivo

Similar concepts with exception(s): Notch seemingly has the technical setup, while SP ostensibly has the leading edge equipment

The only correction to the Modern Draft post is that we have 8 lagering tanks, not 6. I felt 8 lagering / serving tanks were perfect for us, rather than adding additional Lukr tanks just for service. Brienne's direction is her own, so I can't speak for it, but I know the beer will be world class.

    Brighton board, Friday 4-29-22.

To my surprise, a new batch of The Standard. Went on yesterday.

Anyone know the hours for the new hummus spot in the Speedway? Is it weekends only or open during dinner weekdays?

Anyone know how often their Kölsch is on tap? Especially at the Brighton location. It's me and my friends' favorite!

I think it was something like Wed-Sun, noon to maybe 8 weekdays and Sat and then noon to 6 on Sun? Subject to change (and my crappy memory).

All right, because I know that @ChrisLohring is pretty active on this board, I'll ask this super nerdy a question.

I see in a post up above that the Czech beers at Brighton are usually straight from tanks to the side pulls. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

There's a Krug Club event coming up soon, where we will be learning how to properly pour from a side pull faucet.

Any chance that you could also put a keg of Standard on the regular taps, so we can do a side by side comparison of lukr vs regular drafts?
