They make really nice drinking beers.

One you've likely never heard of - Enya, And even more unique than the offset soundhole, it's a Carbon Fiber top and the rest is made of a Carbon Fiber composite. It's totally unaffected by humidity and temperature changes. It's one of the best acoustics I've ever played, it plays great and sounds great too. That's the guitar I keep reaching for lately.

And even cooler - it has built in reverb, delay, and chorus - acoustically, you don't have to plug in in. Something they call an actuator but it works great. It's freaky to play on an acoustic and hear reverb coming from the guitar itself. I tweaked the truss rod a hair to get the action perfect, tuned it once and haven't had to tune it since. I used it for the solos on this tune.

I’m in Milwaukee for work, and I am drinking local from Milwaukee Brewing Company with my friend Shaq! This is listed as an IPA, and I rated it as such, but it’s actually more of an APA, and my rating would’ve been a bit higher if it was listed (and named) an APA.

It's a great porter - and I like that MBC doesn't follow crazes - they just make solid beer. They don't have a hazy that I know of.

Sierra Nevada Powder Day IPA, and a huge bowl of Vermicelli with and egg roll and grilled pork. Oh this is great.


Then as always, an Old Fashioned at Johnny's Gold Brick. Of the $2 kind ha. As I start this huge fantasy world by Jeff Vandermeer, Ambergris. Its a collection of all his interconnecting short stories and full novels revolving around the huge fantasy city/state. If you haven't read his other books like Annihilation, or his Borne series you are missing out. One of the best fantasy and sci fi writers working now, and he basically defined the genre "New Weird."
