    Good morning everyone Advocates,
I send you a beer that I like to take every now and then, even if in general this is not one of my favorite breweries, this Ipa with peaches from that area is always a soft and satisfying choice:

Birrificio della Granda (Cuneo, ITA) - ALTER NATIVE - Fruit & Juicy Ipa with local peaches (6,7%)

33 cl can (4.50 €) of this 6.7% Ipa "Fruit & Juicy" with local peaches (province of Cuneo, famous for the cultivation of this fruit).
On the nose immediately fruity notes and a fragrant herbaceous, petals.
When poured it shows a nice abundant foam, but with little structure that takes little to reduce.
More citrus and herbaceous notes emerge on the nose.
Very smooth beer in the mouth, albeit with a body that I would define medium.
Lively carbonation, perhaps even a bit too much.
Quite short taste of yellow peach and apricot that fade into notes of tropical fruit (mango, pineapple) before a more impressive bitter finish characterized by a notable citrus fruit (grapefruit) and a final bitter herbaceous note that also remains a little on the tongue after drinking.
If I did not know about the use of fruit I would probably say that it would be all the merit of the hops, as the initial fruity part is quite dominated by the nice bitter finish, more attributable in my opinion to that of an American Ipa, rather than to a Fruit and juicy. .
However pleasant and satisfying drink, with excellent quality/price ratio.

Good day BAs and good day @Jack_14! An excellent beginning to today's thread, I really enjoy your take on local brews!
Well, after a day with alternating rain and snow, we will allegedly be having a sunny but cool day today. We'll see about that. Today's New Breakfast Beer is a good one:

A good take on a festbier, well-balanced between hops and malt. Rating 3.5, rDev -5.7%.

Good day to all, and thanks or grazie to Jack for kicking off this thread.

I’m not going to be as wordy as our Italian bro here because this beer speaks for itself.

    The original Duvel…

    Cheers, all!

Walking in Memphis, something I haven’t done yet but I should tick Tennessee on this travel bucket list too someday.

Nice review. That sure sounds like wine writing and descriptions. I like it, and the detail.

Good morning BAs. It's good to be back at the virtual bar and the like minded "patrons". I've been offline for awhile and after 55+ years of my life residing in the South I've had to make the move to the wife's family homestead in Delaware. The mother-in-law is 89 and lives alone, and I love my wife, so here I am. Anyway, I was able to get hold of a good English Pub Ale, SPECKLED HEN.

Morning, BAs! Last time I had this one, it was pretty much fridge temperature, and it wasn't nearly as good as I recalled. It's much better at room temperature.

I'm sure there's some middle ground, but I'm good with room temp.

    Cheers!

    Happy sunny Thursday BA's

Emma and I got our morning walk in as usual - a chilly 32 degrees, but warming to mid-50s today - so some yard work later this afternoon most likely

Stopped at the local beer store after our hike - picked up this one - will be nice when it is very hot and I am screaming around the lake on my Hobie cat! Very refreshing!

I've only had a couple of Baltic Porters, enjoyed them all, but this was a little off style wise, IMHO. According to BA, it's been retired, I'm even wondering why it was sold in the 1st place.....[IMG] .
    ....anyway, enjoy what's in yer glass......cuz I didn't.....
