What beer are you drinking now? #3479

It is Saturday indeed and it has been for just over two hours here as I eat my midnight snack and drink an ESB from hogshead brewery not too far away from me.

It's pretty good, also my first ESB a nice caramel bready malt with a decent earthy bitter hop bite. Pretty smooth but big on the palate. Lots of flavor but the definition of balanced

 

Thank you @AzfromOz for getting us going. The Nelson is strong in this one and I am personally loving it. My son and I have a minor league game to go to later, last time we went we got to see future star Vlad Junior play. Cheers all.

 

Good day BAs! Thanks @AzfromOz for starting today's thread! Looks like a solid start to the day. Mrs. Lizard is working a local quilt guild show today so I have to go over later to help tear down (Yesterday I helped build quilt racks and did odds and ends of stuff). And the day of heading to CA draws closer - next Wednesday at this time I hope to be sleeping on a plane as we fly across the midwest - scheduled to leave PGH at 0645! Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Between the time I poured, measured the eight cm head, and photographed was < one minute so fizzy. Otherwise, surprisingly good for both a lager and a non-stout brew from Voodoo. Rating 3.5, rDev -0.3%

 

Always dazzles me.

Well, I put off my state taxes until near the due date, only to find my state isn’t offering the free fill-in forms. So for the first time in a long time, I needed to fill out a tax form and check with a pen. So annoying.

Something to relax me:


@JamFuel - I think I might understand my confusion all these years…

 

Our society is going backwards, it's mindboggling. I had a very interesting tax year including moving and working in multiple states and I was shocked to see how in the dark ages some are (including my own local tax collectors, it's like 1990 with them when you fall under certain conditions).

 

Having a Bud while celebrating Saturday morning and just being alive.
