Me personally? Hell yes. Perhaps even the most gullible. Just looking for the things his peer group has pre-approved of? Sounds gullible to me.

I also think that this part of the grade inflation issue we these days, especially amongst the UT folx (see, no gender assignment there).

If you have a strong preference against IPAs, then you should not be supporting breweries that allow it to dominate their tap list. Simple.

Maybe I'm obtuse, lost, or an asshole - hell could be all three - but supporting a business doing something you don't like with money means they can continue to do that very same thing. If you have a group that aligns with you, you may be able to tug on the brewery's sleeves a little harder to be heard.

It's this climate of double dry hopped everything that let's places like bierestadt exist. Seriously, they currently have tmave 13, pils, helles and dunkel on tap. That's it. And people, myself included, keep flocking to their taproom. I'm hoping to see a maibock, but if not I know my bros at TRVE hooked it up this year so....

Damn dude. Theoretically you could do that with any style....except we are talking an over abundance and I dont disagree. Im here not defending any style. Im here defending anyone that wants to drink what they want. And I dont have to like it.
And honestly I could give 2 fks if anyone is offended by what I or anyone else drinks. Honestly this is not the most important thing in my life but I like hanging. Everything seems to be getting different here. I agree with what the OP said. No problems there. I get it. I think you can find what youre looking for even if there is a lack thereof. You seem like a guy I can have a brew with so Im not getting into a battle about this. Sure youre going to get FOMOs - Im not that person. NEIPA? First lets micro manage that description.... then yes there is a shitload of garbage.

I do love a good IPA, not a fan of the fruity stuff or the hazy. I like the old school pine forward and grapefruit forward IPA, not easy to find around here. I have been drinking much more lager of late and I love it. I have been going to a local that does real nice lagers but also IPA for those that want that. The smoked lager is great abd I see more people drinking the lagers than the IPA. I hope as it cools down in the fall that they brew brown ales and other styles but I do not know what they will do.
