Another day, another freshie banger from Modestman

Iron Galaxy - NEDIPA Single-hop Galaxy 8.5%

My favorite hop strain, I was in love with its little brother - Cold Vein - earlier in the year. Wish I had both to compare side-by-side. But, this stuff is just amazing.

 

That's a whole sight better than what I had for lunch today.

Polymath American light lager 4.5% - Celestial Beer Works

2022 BA Surly Darkness

 

Still have not had a beer yet from this brewery I didn't like. Fox Farm Brewery Stet Altbier 5% ABV. A spot on style Altbier. Man this was tasty. Prost!

Moving on to another from Modestman

This one is one of the earlier brews in their short history thus far, so I didn't have any great expectations after just drinking perhaps the best NEDIPA I've ever tasted.

C.O.A - MEGA (Center of Attention with Citra/Mosaic)

Very, very tasty. A lot more complex, but as always just way too smooth and drinkable for the ABV.

 

Been processing some unfortunate news today, as my Mom called me early this morning to let me know that my aunt had passed unexpected. I feel terrible for my parents, especially because my grandma's passing has been so recent and they just lost a close friend a few weeks back as well

Doing a lot of thinking, reminiscing, and praying today. On a lighter note though, trying my first brew from Cranky Sam..

Allagash's Swiftly IPA, a 6.5 old school east coast IPA if you ask me. Enjoyed at Brewski's in my native Bronx.

Drinking Bitburger Dry Hop'd Zwickl, this a damn good beer

 

With the markets swirling around the toilet bowl, time for a bigger bottle.
Guinness Extra Stout, only 5.6% ABV, but a 22 oz. bottle.



Prost
