The Lone Star is more corny tasting than PBR. I cleansed my pallet with Black Bush.

 

HELL YEAH!

 

Such a great IPA! We do get it here but it's almost never fresh. I really enjoyed it at the brewery in Cinci a few years ago. Enjoy!

That was a great read! Scared the hell out me when I was 14 back in '74.

 

My last of these on hand. I’m still hoping for a black IPA comeback.

 

My daughter sent them. She's giving me a new granddaughter May 23. When we go up there I want to hang in Cincy for one night. Make WrightPatt for damn sure.

 

Tonight I'm hanging out at the brewery by my work, Fritz Family Brewers, and their German and malty beers are delicious. Tonight I'm having their Altbier so the best of both worlds. Lighter than most malty beers but still a nice medium dark malt explosion, but still with a good and bitter noble hop bite. Crisp, a bit hoppy, and very malty. Perfect.

 

Oh man, that is some disheartening news for sure. His family and friends (yourself included) will certainly be in my prayers.

Appreciate the condolences, @TCgenny . Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend as well. Way too much tragedy lately
