    The work day/week is over, vacation starts, and we're headed to Vegas! Beer #1 will be some Goose Island offering from inside of Midway airport on our layover, if I'm lucky. I'm hoping for this in a bottle:

    So i saw this in the fridge of a little liquor store and knew it would be horribly old. Sure enough the best buy date is 6/26/12, and so i passed. But as i was paying for my other stuff i said screw it and picked it up. Lol and of course the malts have takin over, lucky it's still pretty damn tasty, the malts are caramel goodness, there's still some fruity, floral, and cat piss hops, and the mouthfeel is very creamy! So even though i wont be reviewing it, it's still very enjoyable!

    Working on a GD Oak Aged Yeti that was bottled on 9/24/12. This is a fresh one and I have one in the basement just to see what happens.

    This seems like an appropriate beer to drink to get ready for the blizzard headed my way. Cheers!

    Kicking back with some tea as I'm having a blood test done tomorrow and can't drink (hence obviously craving a beer really badly). Enjoying the hell out of all the Westvleteren XII disappointment posts. Welcome to my world 3 years ago and the whole reason that got me into craft in the first place.

    Stick that overhyped boozy stuff in the cellar for at least 5 years to make it drinkable and drink a perfectly balanced Orval instead.

    Poetic exaggeration, I know, but I chuckle when people call this the best beer in the world. Nowhere near it.
