    Greeting advocates! Hoppy Thursday!

I am drinking Rince Cochon in its pretty glass, which is this time full. Any glass of beer looks (and taste!) better full.

Still following drawing class and did this today. Quite difficult.

Hm. Upload fail, so recyc pic of the usual N/A morning post. Off to the gym; hopefully a tree limb doesn't kill me on the way. Spring winds have been brutal this year. Thoughts go out to my all friends and peeps in New Mexico dealing with fires, burnt homes, and displaced lives. :l
    Cheers!

Good morning BAs! I took yesterday off as a cleanse day. Lovely 66° walk with dogs this morning; feeding and kitchen chores done, it’s coffee time - DORIS The Destroyer by Hoppin’ Frog:

No canned date, BB date Dec 3, 2024. Poured at 58°. Fast fizzy dark tan head; no cap retention, ring nor lace; no legs. Nose is burnt wood and earthy hops. Entry is very strong burnt wood/chicory; bitter roast; bitter earthy hops; a little chocolate hiding underneath. Medium light body; thin silk feel; moderate minus carbonation; no warmth from 10.5% abv; very dry finish. Overall, too thin, too bitter, too hoppy, too dry…in short, too much and unbalanced; not an enjoyable RIS for me.

    3.75 | 3.75 | 3.75| 3.75 | 3.75
    Score: 3.75 rDev -11.1%

Hoppin’ Frog has been hit and miss for me lately. Sometimes I really like their beer, other times like today, not so much…Cheers and have a great day y’all!

Hows that one? Haven't seen it. The last batch of Florida Weiss was so acidic I couldn't drink it, hoping this may have struck more of a balance.

Hop burn is sloppy brewing. There are several ways to mitigate that shit. No excuse for it. Also, surprised to see Os Cats this morning. Weirdo.

Some Dutch tulips. This was taken last Sunday. Now, after a couple of sunny days, the fields will even be more colorful.

I'm joining you and @ChicagoJ. My portfolio is mostly US stocks. No fun going down, but I'm not getting nervous (yet). Might need an extra beer or two  In it for the long run myself, buying and holding.

I'm with you @Beer-Panda . In it for the long haul, although that haul is getting shorter for me day by day. Eh, the wife will end up with it all, sooner or later. :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, having a little more ABV with this one as I checked again on the Markets. :-1:

The mighty #DIPA from To Øl (Denmark).
It is only 3,99 (€/$) here, prices in Denmark where this beer is from are almost double. I guess it is all one way or the other. Refueling a car costs about an arm and a leg where I live. Good thing I like cycling and walking.
    Cheers

Refueling any vehicle is hitting all of us around the world really hard. Last time I saw such crazy high fuel prices was back in the early 80s and then again in 2008. To put it bluntly ... This sucks.
