    Well, BA’s, we all have things that affect us - good and bad - and I suppose that in the end, it’s all about how we react to said things. We are all different in our own way, and we are all on our own personal journey. Sure, the guy on the barstool next to you can give you his own personal advise, but at the end of the day, only you truly know you. Cheers to discovery. Cheers to whatever it is that makes you happy. And cheers to simply “being.”

    Sage advice!

    My beer tonight is Hawkers' Saison. Hawkers are from the suburb of Reservoir in Melbourne, Australia, founded by a guy who also founded the Middle East's first craft brewery, 961, in Beirut in Lebanon. So quite the entrepreneurial journey!

    The beer is quite nice, very dry and refreshing.

    Good morning all, some good and some bad indeed.

    Sadly have learned about the passing of an old friend and then colleague of my mother this morning, she also became a friend for me as I was growing up. Last time I could talk to her was on the phone while she was hospitalized. Apparently she died in her sleep.

    So I’ll raise a toast today to her; Christiane T.

    look: 4.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.25

    Medium amber body topped with a thick, frothy head; splotchy patches of foam stick to the glass. Gentle fruit aroma; grape, orange and lemon; very light wood mustiness. Very tart and juicy taste; lemon drops and sweet cherries; touch of whiskey in the background. Medium body; acidic and mouth watering.

    This outstanding sour ale exudes mouthwatering goodness. Yes, it is sour but not extremely intense. The whiskey barrel aging is pretty low-key yet does provide a bit of offset to the lemon and cherry character. Well-crafted and very approachable.

    Hello Advocates! Great to be here! Thanks @RaulMondesi for todays thread. The past week has been chaos for me. Goofus Interuptus daisy chained all week. Lost electricity Wed night in a storm for 19 hrs. Came back on yesterday at about 5:30. Then internet & cable were out for 12 hrs in yet another bad storm last night. At least all the contractors are done, we got rain and my little gas generator was perfect. No loss of fridge/freezer items because the house can run on gasoline! So, to usher in this Friday the 13th today I shot hoops for 1 hr & I'm having my last Stone 25th Anniversary Triple IPA. 12.5% ABV Purchased a 6pk 10/19/21 for $15.99. A very incredible TIPA. Cheers!

    Well folks, if you are ever in Atlanta and want to go to a brewpub that make excellent classic beers Goodword Brewing & Public House in Duluth is THE place to go. Just finished a flight of exceptional beers. My favorites in order (and it was a tough choice).

    1. These Are The Days Kolsch 4.7
    2. A Troubadour Speaks German Pilsner 4.9
    3. Analog Life Dark Mild 3.6
    4. No Wooden Shoes Amber Lager 3.5

    That Dark Mild was tremendous btw.
