Bare Hands Westy IPA. One of Indiana's more underrated breweries, especially when it comes to hoppy beers. This is their flagship beer and it never disappoints. Awesome west coast IPA goodness.

 

Hello Advocates! Thanx @Shanex for todays thread. I'm prepping for a long weekend on Madeline Island. A lovely and not so busy day here so I'd better get this one in while time allows! Hammerheart Thor's Fury Returns Imperial Hot Pepper Porter. 10.7% ABV and it is good 'n hot. Smoky bacon taste & aroma are subtle. A lovely robust Porter is what it's all about. Cheers!


Oh and a little pamphlet was stuffed into the mailbox...just change the lingo to all things Beer Advocate and it's a huge gas! For example:

I'm digging mixing in more lower abv beers into my beer schedule. It's just to fuckin hot here in Texas to be drinking DIPAs all day(although I think we're about to see some rain). Plus I'm trying to lose some beer weight. Cheers y'all!

Persistence pale ale 5% - Celestial Beer Works

 

Bissell Brother Here's to Feeling Good All the Time DIPA (Galaxy, Mosaic, Simcoe, Vic Secret). Big passionfruit on this one, yellow grapefruit, dragon fruit, perfumy floral, bright tangerine, ripe mango, guava, peach pit, fresh cut grass, pine resin, slight cannabis. Vanilla wafer, doughy malt. Soft and silky. Yet another top tier hazy from these guys.


This one is named after the scene my avatar is from Seinfeld is definitely my favorite comedy of all time.

Howdy all, the grading continues as does the taper.
5 miles today at an OK pace, last real run until Saturday. Friday will just be a mile or two shake-out and a few staircases to keep legs 'awake.' Expecting snow/rain, and 30s on Saturday. Cool.
Yeah, perfect weather. But it should be an experience.

Tonight have to go to a dinner to celebrate some of our graduating seniors - should be good.
Just stoppin' in with the usual N/A UA beer since I gotta take it easy this week.
