    I am drinking Guinness West Indies Porter… one of my preferred from the iconic Irish brewery.

    I did this one yesterday evening. It took a bit over two hours. Not awful, a nice chapel actually located on the coast town I go to every summer. I am not the most religious man there is mind you but thought it was pretty and worthy of a drawing:

    Happy Saturday!

    Today's beer is Oro de Calabaza from Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales. A bit too vinous for mine, and I'm really not sure I'd categorise it as a wild Belgian Golden Strong (I don't get much Belgian character except the slightest spicy yeast note), but who am I to say how a brewer should define their beer?

    No election result here in Oz yet, but an absolutely beautiful very late autumn day here with the temperature sitting at 20 degrees C (68f) and Geelong having a good win in the footy.

    The nine-year-old just woke up, and she wants to work on Disney Chip and Dale Legos. I was going to nap, but I told her I would work with her and we could watch the new movie of those guys that premiered on Disney+ yesterday. Can’t think of a better way to start a Saturday.

    Well, home another day so I'll continue doing laundry and catching up on my to-do list that I make while traveling - trimmming hedges and picking up plants are today's biggies. Today's New Breakfast Beer biggie was ninja-struck at me by @ovaltine:
