    Good day BAs! Off to another chilly start - 45 (that's 45 degrees, not -45) degrees and counting. Spent yesterday picking out plants and planting flowers with Mrs Lizard - today promises more of the same. S-l-o-w-l-y working my way through my to -do list I built while traveling (and add to daily).

    The aroma promised melons and dankness, the taste only delivered dankness. Oh well, still a good brew! Rating 4.21, rDev -2.8%. Thanks Fred!

    Another early morning cellar beer here. Still too cold for me to drink outside, age has lowered my cold tolerance.

    This can is nearing 5 years old. Discussed further in the Cellar Review Thread, its good, but drink your coffee stouts fresh.

    Was my six year old nephew's birthday yesterday, he was most excited for the Imagine Dragons concert tickets he scored for I believe a September concert at the new Raiders Stadium in Vegas, where they live. He'll be 11 years younger than I was for my first concert (Genesis), though I worked a bunch prior to this show.

    Howdy all and thanks Ozzylizard for getting us started on this note.

    I was at the Asian buffet for lunch but was with the missus and mother in law. Didn’t feel like using my phone in front of them.

    Anyway, I am drinking this East IPA from the respected brewery Brooklyn:

    Quite a number of metal heads don’t like KORN. I don’t consider myself a metal head because of lack of knowledge of other bands, but if one doesn’t like their early stuff and this one in particular… well I dunno. I also love the fact that before Linkin Park they were mixing two musical genres that normally everything oppose. Hip hop and metal:

    I like Korn up until mid 2000s then they turned that dubstep thing and changed up sounds. I've seen them live and they only played their early stuff anyways.

    Glad you enjoyed it. I bought that one on spec. Great Notion (AKA Grape Lotion) mostly makes fruity IPAs and pastry stouts. People seem to either love or hate them. I really haven't had a whole lot of their beers, as they aren't officially distributed here, but I thought you might appreciate that one.

    Would also recommend Chouffe Blanche which I believe can be found now over there, seriously I don’t really dig weatbier all that much, but this was incredible. Chouffe just is consistent in awesomeness.

    I'll keep an eye out for it. Not sure what the availability is in the US. I've enjoyed every Chouffe beer I've had, so I'm sure I'll like that one as well. You would prob like Bell's Oberon, which is what I'm pouring next
