Off a little early because its a long weekend and I have to work the holiday. A little pissed at my outdoor cat. She brought this home- the first time Ive seen a flying squirrel here. They are nocturnal so how she got this I have no idea - although shes out all night.

No. Back in the day when their beers had much less presence on these forums and I desired stuff from outside my area, they were one of the few brewers I wish came to my state.

So sad to hear about the passing of Yes drummer Alan White. I saw Yes 3 times in the mid eighties in Philly So Happy Thursday evening! Starting a long holiday weekend this evening! First up is: RaR Brewing’s: “Slip Ons” IPA.

 

Thats a great beer. Their pilsners are excellent. I reviewed this on NBW.
I still believe this is the best beer Ive had so far this year. Just phenomenal and slightly different. Triple decoction really makes a difference

Brewers Notes: An easy drinking hazy IPA bursting with Flavors of orange, pineapple and papaya from amazing lots of Azacca, Strata, and El Dorado hops. Collaboration with 5 rights brewing


Hazy yellow liquid capped by a creamy two finger white foam cap , graduated lacings

Aroma is lemon citrus

Taste is orange citrus , light pineapple, light papaya

Mouthfeel is effervescent , hop taste, no bite

So, I didn’t like this beer to start. When I had my February Beer Fridge drink down, I had a lonely 5er left of this… it’s great, and although I’m sitting at the kitchen table, this is a refreshing hot weather beer. Btw, this blurb is better than any of my crappy beer reviews.
