Good morning from Vermont! Just finished a morning mountain canoeing session with a Beer’d Wiskered Wit. Catching up on last night, as well, and on my phone, so pics may be out of order. Cheers!

Thanks for breaking the seal on WBAYDN this morning @Roguer I'm drinking
Siera Nevada Hoptimum. I'm playing Backgammon in my Hugh Hefner style
smoking jacket and just like John Henry, staying one step ahead of the machine

    Gentlemen,
I came back after many days of overwhelming emotions, never felt in my lifetime ... By framing work commitments up to inconceivable times, to give me emotions that, for me (and my Romanist friends), are worth a lifetime ... .

But let's go in order ...
11 May: transfer from Rome to Bologna where my basketball team made the Eurocup Final (the second most important European cup, whose victory gives access to the most important of all) ...
Pre-final of the highest level at a renowned pub / beershop in Bologna, where among the excellent beers drunk I put some bottles of the highest level uncorked:

Immortal triumph and return to the Euroleague after 14 years ... We, who have won two, the last of which in 2001 with this guy here, who maybe you have heard about there too:

After this great victory, 3 days ago in Albania, in Tirana, I saw with my own eyes something that you dream of, but that you are almost sure that it will never happen
    Instead Yes...

Obviously, while I was there I tried to drink as many local beers as possible ... but always industrial beers, those for mass consumption ... similar to our Peroni or Nastro Azzurro, on which I have read good reviews also above, but I invite everyone not to be influenced by the fact that they come from afar and that perhaps they are proposed for Italian excellence, because they are not.
They are exactly the rulers of the market against which the artisans have to carve out crumbs of the market with the quality of their handcrafted products which, however, has enormously higher costs.

In the meantime I also participated in a local craft beer festival, the SPRING BEER FESTIVAL (16-19 May) ... which I will report on shortly by stealing more space with photos and a few lines on the beers that I have pinned there at the moment .
I will also catch up with the database ... but I see that it has been a beautiful, wonderful month ... from a point of experience of emotions, one of the most beautiful of my life
But also challenging ... Especially when you are no longer 20 years old ... It's wonderful, but exhausting ...

    Sláinte !
    Cheers !

NBW cross-post. This beer is a very boring disappointment. What is not, is Top Gun: Maverick! Go see it on the big screen!

PetSkull Brewing in Manitowoc, WI, finally canned some of their beer. I was going to review this beer for NBW, but it is better I don't, after a few sips. I do love the brewery, especially the owner/brewer Paul Hoffman. He is a fellow heavy metal fanatic. Vulgar Display of Power by Pantera is one of the greatest heavy metal albums ever recorded. I appreciate the inspiration for this beer!
