It's Saturday! Can I get me a hallelujah?

No let up to the cold, crappy, winter weather here, and we're only four days in!

A nice, moderately bitter helles, this one from Spaten (aka the Spaten-Franziskaner-Löwenbräu-Gruppe...), is perfect to help beat off the chill.

    Cheers!

Well, it's morning. So, why not start the day with juice?

And another Cap dona Rousse beer. Only a week old and darn good for an interesting amber ale style. This brewery has really made strides over the last 7 years in terms of quality. Got in a morning hike and about to watch the French Open ladies final.
    Cheers!

Early morning walk started off chilly, ended up comfortably warm. Couple lives from the wild we’re interested but barely skittish in my presence:

A beer to continue the warming, perhaps, from Flying Dog:

Looking like a porch-sitting kind of day, unless something else comes up.

Good morning BAs! Too rainy this morning to walk the dogs, so we’ll wait for a break and have some coffee - 903 Brewers, Sherman TX, “Java The Hutt Stout” an imperial rye stout aged on Sumatra coffee beans:

No canning date :slight_frown: Poured at 52°. Sweet chocolate malt, coffee an afterthought. Dry rye finish and aftertaste. Nothing bad, I just think it’s too sweet, lacks coffee and is unbalanced. One and done. Another overhyped beer from Tavour.

My pub’s monthly bottle share is this afternoon, so I’ll finish up a few chores around the house/yard, then meet my friends for lunch, then we’ll do the share … always great, sometimes epic…Cheers and have a sumptuous Saturday y’all!

Look at Saturday in full swing! @Shanex blasting one of my favorite albums. @JamFuel making a case for a separate thread entirely (WhatBeerIsJamFuelDrinkingNow?). @cjgiant with beautiful pics as always. @jzeilinger with one of my favorite breakfasts, too, by coincidence!

My partner and I are planning on an outing to Beer'd later today, but first, our own breakfast beer (even though it's technically already lunch time):
