it’s apparent a lot of folks don’t like the sours, however, they’re at the wrong brewery as that what SP is known for (or at least that’s how they started anyways)

you’re not wrong. I didn’t care about SP too much until those Derivations 1 & 2 came along

Not my spreadsheet. It's the one grze put together and is linked on the first post of this thread. And Side Project doesn't make bottle counts public. Any bottle count number you see is speculation, though some is more educated than others.

Assuming the brewery’s list is accurate, looks like Achro is being sold to go by itself IP

still a bunch of packs left. with this type of quantity, I feel it would have been a better move to sell individually with no limit. people can buy 4 stouts, rather than just one pack

i know im not buying more than 1 pack, but i would have bought 2 stouts and 1 bb if i had the chance

If you are willing to go through the rigmarole, I believe you can get refunds on anything that isn’t sold out. At least the disclaimer that there are no refunds on “sold out packs” implies you can.

Then just ask the person that is proxying for you to just buy what you want, and send them the cash. Slight hassle. Given the fact they put individual bottles to go within 48 hours of release (but not online), I wouldn’t feel bad about doing it, but I understand why others would balk at the idea. In your case, since you want the pack and also a single bottle, just keep your pack and ask your proxy to pick up your 1 extra bottle. Easy peasy.

literally had this exact same thought. especially in regards to “taking care of locals” in the thought that it really just creates a hectic making situation for most locals i’d imagine.

I’m curious if they held a bunch of bottles back for on site sale, because the package inventory hasn’t taken a hit

I’m curious as to whether b2 will be any better than b1, which seemed imbalanced due to lack of coconut & being overly sweet? Fit more of a Weldwerks stout profile versus DM, which I thought was incredible: balanced, complex, & layered w/ tons of coconut intermixed w/ barrel. If anything, this post is just a plea to release DM b2 :grimacing:

I believe online inventory is always separate from on-site (to go) bottles. That’s why bottles that sell out online are still available to go at location.

I opened The Scribe b2 last night and was not into it. I think there’s just so much going on with this beer that it’s a bit of a mess. It’s also pretty dry, and I think a little more sweetness would have brought everything together into a more cohesive flavor profile. I capped it and will give it another shot today, but I’m predicting a drain pour.

Damn that sucks. I really enjoyed it. One of my favorite beers of the year so far. Have another bottle I’m gonna let sit for a while. Excited to revisit it in a year or two
