Thanks for reporting on Station Craft, which I have not been to yet. I generally stop by Pizza Port to check the endless flow of new and always worthwhile left coast IPAs. Artifex and Lost Winds are in the same business park east of SC on Pico Blvd (exit from I-5).

Even MORE interesting...on Phantom Carriage's Instagram page, somebody suggested they look into Liberation's (soon to be) old space, but Phantom Carriage mentioned Beachwood has applied for a DISTILLING license there??

Upon further inspection, according to the ABC site, Beachwood Blendery has applied for a license at Liberation's location

It would be fantastic having a Beachwood location across the street from Ambitious Ales and in the same neighborhood as Smog City

not quite the same, but bake n' broil across the street there makes good homestyle food

One of my all time favorite places. Their pies are the best

Domino’s is horrible. Pizza Port pizza is just “meh.” I went with an Italian friend and she said that it wasn’t pizza, it’s focaccia (which I can agree with).

Mediocre foccacia 1000% . I hear They make great IPAs( i didnt get any but i have had Bacon and Egggs Imperial Porter) and had DDH Pliny and Dark Star On Nitro at their brew taproom.

The pizza was a thick bready cheesy mess. Good wings tho.

Was strolling down in Orange circle and saw that Finneys craft house will open 30 taps. Also finally got to try 1886 brewing down there and it’s pretty darn legit. Definitely recommend stopping there

@RaulMondesi Let me know about RiiP pizza when you make it over there? I like Pizza Port San Clemente. But RiiP is my new to go pizza, with beer.

Does anyone know if the bottleshare called Woodshop is happening this year? Or if it still exists?
I went to Woodshop 2.0 back in roughly ‘09. Pretty fun. I believe in Anaheim. Forget what time of year.

It just happened in November 2021 for the 1st time since the pandemic started. So it probably won’t happen again until at least Fall 2022

Went to that shindig at Hermisillo in early December and had a fine old time. Lot of folks thirsting to get back to their old beer share hijinks and a lot of great beer on tap from organizer Chris - my fav was a keg of Yellow Bus. Nicest bottle I sampled was a mid-90s vintage of Cantillon Classic Gueuze.

Disturbing rumor of the day was that this was going to to be the last Woodshop for a while but Chris would be the guy to ask about that.
