All teasing aside, with Rye Ambiente being Rye BBT with the adjuncts, is anyone worried that RBBT b2 is going to be the same as Rye BA ambiente to BA ambiente b1?

 

Package will be: BBT Rye, Bier Blanche, CDC B9, and PN 14

 

I've read this 4 times and I'm still not sure what you're asking/saying.

 

lol yeah sorry for being confusing. the new ba ambiente (2022) isnt getting very much love in reviews and people are trying to off load them on the trade boards. Compared to BA ambiente (2020) its a big diffrerence.

The base beer for BA Abmiente (2022) is the new Rye BBT ....

eh, its too confusing, ill just wait for the reviews the pour in

 

I'd imagine the base will be completely different and the BA ambiente got the rye barrels that weren't good enough for the BBT line.

 

oh thats a great way to look at it! i hope you are correct! Also, i have yet to try Ba ambiente b2, so we'll see firsthand. i still got a b1 im thinking of doing a side by side with, but thats a shit ton of stout

im surprised they didnt fold in new beers into the package like they did for BBT back in november

And batch 1 wasn't exactly a hot trade commodity outside of the initial rush to trade as soon as it was released.

Cory agrees with us as well, just fyi. The rye barrels just fit that style of beer perfectly.

i don’t think it’s accurate to say the base beers are the same. as with BBT, i’m sure they save the best barrels for Rye BBT since it’s “naked” and use the other barrels for BA Ambiente. twas a nice try at hyping up BA Ambiente for sure. that said, if BA Ambiente wasn’t Shared and it was called SP Derivation 16, it would be getting sold on black market forums for $600-$700. what can i say, the craft beer crowd is dumb lol.

 

Just read all the posts since RBBT was mentioned. So, is this an LC only beer, or public release also.

Wow i'm surprised there's not more chatter on here about the Rbbt public release. I've never had it and am super pumped to try it.

 

Unless I am blind, it doesn't appear to be made public yet. I don't see it on the blog, I don't see an e-mail, it's not on either instagram account, and not in an instagram story. So, I think the only information public about it is from LC e-mails.

 

I’ve never had it either. Missed out on the original release and never got the chance to try it on site. Really stoked to try it

 

Look on Instagram in the comments of the announcement for Slap Concert. SP comments that deets for RBBT b4 the weekend. I know.. a little hidden but fantastic news. Never had and a major want!

 

Honest question: Do people not realize RBBT 1 also had a public release? Everybody seems to think it was LC only.

 

Maybe they don’t, doesn’t seem so. That was almost two years ago.

 

i think it’s more that it was just very limited (this batch has to be quite a bit bigger) and that new new that everyone wanted. it was really hard to trade fora bottle of it. i cringed at people trading 2 x BBT20 for Rye BBT20. even if rye is your thing, that beer was NOT twice as good as regular BBT (or better at all, to me). i suspect this release will trade much lower though.
