Urban Chestnut Forest Park Pilsner at The Boathouse. My wife and I are taking a staycation and are enjoying the day. I will likely be back tonight after my son’s baseball game.

Hey all, back onto the Bigfoot Legacy pack. Today am sampling a 2019 which is fairly hoppy as i thought it would be, very flavorful with a nice balancing bittering hop bite, but not quite as bitter as the 2022 edition.
Caught a Muddy Waters remake of a Sonny Boy Williamson song on the SXM BB King station
    Cheers!

I appreciate that, I hope we are both alive by the time that probably happens.

I kind of like them but sweet potato fries are the best.

    Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale
    aka the P-P-A
A 4.6% abv pale ale where Simcoe shines. Not a great harvest this year. Some have a peculiar black licorice note but not this one. This is the bread and butter. The moon sun and stars. The Justin Timberlake to nsync.

There's no other pale ale like it and I'm proud to be part of it finally. This is culture.

Having this with a jalapeño pizza slice and it still shines.

Afternoon BA's. School's out and summer break is in full effect! Spent the whole day shuttling kids around and cleaning the house. This is always pretty damn good.

I'm headed back to TH in a couple weeks after a few months away. With over 80 beers available daily now, my wallet and fridge are looking pretty small.

Well, call it dumb luck or something else, but last night I read about a cool collab between Atlanta based Three Taverns & Pilsner Urquell's experimental brewery Pivovar Proud. Pivovar Proud had sampled 3T's Prince of Pilsen (a Bohemian style lager with Citra and Saaz) and wanted to collab with them. I had to try that but it was a small batch and little of it would get to distro. On a whim, I stopped in a local bottle shop I rarely go in and low and behold they had one 4 pack of Pilsen Liberation there! Didn't hesitate. This has a meatier malt bill than P of P because they were brewing and serving it in the Czech Republic too. Uses Saaz, Citra & Cascade hops. Nice clean lager profile with extra hoppiness. Well done by both breweries! Can design is excellent. Looks a lot like the PU cans that you see here in the states. Cheers!
