Packing up a very atypical box right now while enjoying a Powerhouse Pils from Flying Dog.



So I bought a killer stomp box for my acoustic guitar last week from a dude on Reverb. Then today, this pedal lands on my doorstep... I didn't order it or pay for it. It happened to come from the same guy I bought the other pedal from and knew it was an oversight. I reached out right away to let him know it landed here and shipping back to him. All of you fellow guitar nerds out there know Fulltone pedals are top shelf, I wish I needed a Trem pedal on my board and would have PayPal'd the $ immediately and gladly kept it! And so it goes back to the original owner.

We went to my Son's Sport Medicine appointment. In a nutshell; the Doc said this is basically a hereditary condition ( hip socket impingement ) & he will eventually need surgery to correct it. He also said nothing he will do is going to make it worse. So he is going to try and suck it up and play football his Senior year. He got a massive needle steroid shot. Is getting some strong anti inflammatory meds prescribed along with PT.

I think this surgery will take some planning. Closest place doing the surgery, Dallas & he will be laid up 2 months minimum. So I hope& pray it all works out.

 

Off work, my Mom's back in the hospital, but the massive, monsoon like rainstorm of this afternoon did not translate into the sewer backing up again, so my glass is half full.
So I put a Topcutter into it.

 

So many great songs on that record, I had trouble picking one to post.

Hunkering down with a daisy cutter. Still an all time favorite. Started driving home with 12 pounds of boost, when I got home I was only building 6psi of boost. I'm hoping for a heat soaked intercooler. Maybe a weak wastegate. Ugh.
