    Good morning/happy late night beer sesh advocates! I've been getting my sleep schedule a little more regular so I haven't been starting too many of these threads lately, but I looked at the clock as I cracked my Big Ben Brown Ale and saw 1AM mountain time that means it's tomorrow everywhere except Hawaii and Alaska so anyways what beer are you drinking now?

    This Big Ben from bull amd bush is a traditional almost moose drool like brown ale, but higher quality, with an almost nutty sweetness and a more rounded yeast profile with a low key hit of slightly American vibe hops. A bit figgy with a big focus on dark but not black caramely malts, and a transition to some fermentation notes and a dry finish.

    'Evening all!

    One last day of work to go before I head off on some leave, so celebrating with a beer.

    Unfortunately, my occasional weird taste sensations from my cancer treatment turned up today after a couple of months of near-perfect taste reception, and it meant this beer tasted like Tictoc cookies, which are biscuits from my childhood that most of you have never heard of. Anyway, trust me, they taste like this beer, which I'm pretty sure is not what the brewer was aiming for!

    Hey BA's

    Another toasty day in store - already 84 with heat index of 89 at 10 am.....at least it is supposed to cool down a bit after today and a cooler less humid weekend is in the forecast!

    Not my favorite of all the Shiner beers I have tried, but not horrible as a hydration drink! Found some sours / goses from Urban Artifact in the cellar that I need to pop in this heat!

    On to a nice dill pickle gose from Urban Artifact.....wish this was still a summer seasonal vs a "XMas Pickle".....ah well - this one left over from 2021, and tasting mighty fine on an 89 degree (heat index 95) Thursday morning!

    After spending half an hour in a sweltering department store queue for the missus, this is the perfect tonic.

    A lager brewed with Lime zest by Runaway for The Smithfield Market Tavern that is run by Blackjack, just highlights the spirit de corps among Manchester (England) Brewers
    Could do without this Jazz Rap fusion though

    Stella Artois at the end of a sunny day. And after some day drinking with Uiltje :slight_smile:

    The Stella glass has an engraving at the bottom. That creates the swirl and the spilling foamy head. May look nice in bars but is killing for carbonation. Need to drink fast from a glass like this.

    Had to start off with a Alesmith IPA today. This is a excellent beer. I'd definitely buy it regularly if it was available to me like that. Hopefully I can score 1 more pack. Cheers y'all!

    I've been to the Beermoth a couple of years ago. Their taplist looks even better now.
    Manchester is not a bad place to have a beer. Some of us would run straight to the Cloudwater taproom if they had the chance I believe :slight_smile:
