<<<mods move if Regional isn’t the right place for this>>>

Among the joys of being a Golden State Warriors fan these days (living in Boston, nonetheless) is the wagers I’ve won. One in particular is with a friend - a Celtics fan living in the Bay Area. He now owes me a case of beer.

I’m a little out-of-touch with how best to take advantage of this/ answer his questions for what beers I’m looking to grab. I’m always interested in new ticks, and have had a good share of RR, Fieldwork, Cellarmaker.

What should I be asking for BA fam? Mostly anything goes style-wise for me.

Wondrous, Ghost Town, SARA, and I always stump for Hen House saisons

Moonlight for lagers if you've never had their beers before and enjoy lagers. Reality Czeck, Death and Taxes and Dim Lights are fabulous.

More votes for Wondrous and Moonlight. Personally have been less impressed with Ghost Town recently. Did enjoy the recent 6th Anniversary West Coast Pils from Temescal, if that's your thing.

Maybe some Moonraker if that’s within the location radius.

I might get some flack for this but... are SARA "regular beers" good again?

I tried a few during the pandemic and they were a pale shadow of what they used to be. and made me stop caring. Nothing related to the pandemic itself - I just feel like the coming and goings of assistant brewers make a big difference, even if the brewmaster is the same. And a lot of my favorite breweries I think have changed / worsened because of that.

I dunno… I’d go with all the various Warriors-themed (novelty?) beers. Maybe expand to Bay Area-branded beers, in keeping with the theme.

Also, I second all of the above.
