    This really isn't my week... First I get hit by a car on Wednesday, sustaining minor damage to myself and major damage to my beloved bike and today I have a major fallout with one of my oldest friends. FML, at least I got beer, cheers :grimacing:!

    Overall, this makes for a great hybrid beer that has sort of become Cloudwater's signature style, making for a very enjoyable drinking experience.

    Damn, man. In Sweden, we have a saying, en olycka kommer sällan ensam, translates as a bad thing rarely comes alone. Shit tends to pile on, but at least you have the best brewery in the world to drink!

    Aslin no backsies. Fantastic hefeweizen. Banana, bubblegum, clove, pear, apple, wheat, biscuit dough, wood, peppercorn, herbal, grass, yeast earthiness. Lt-med herbal bitterness, yeast spiciness, and light yeast tang/tartness on the finish. Medium high carb and light to medium body. Fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/ grainy wheat and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lingering drying with no astringency. Tastes like the classic weihenstephaner yeast, and not too far off from the actual branded beer. Just lighter and not as creamy. Loved it. 4.25

    I really can't sense the difference between the old and the current one. That said, I never felt that there was any reason to mess with a good thing. What was the reasoning for a hop profile change, to give it more mass appeal?

    I kinda got the Swedish as well this time. Another word for "allein" in German is "einsam", which makes it even more similar.

    Hudson valley brewery glycerin double black raspberry peach sour DIPA. This is so delicious, hard to imagine a tastier beer in this style. Not everything these guys do is a home run but this is so absurdly good.
