Isn’t this a version of Julius?

Yes, Julius. Sorry, I got Green also and made a mistake.

You pay a huge premium, had to go all the way to the source yet still made a mistake? Poo-Bah my ass. What a rube.

I still have a can of Vanilla Bean Aftermath sitting in the fridge and it's probably gonna stay there for a while. I just can't finish their big stouts anymore. They've been heading in that overly decadent borderline cloying direction for a few years now and I think they may have passed the threshold.

I like chocolate syrup, I just don't like drinking it. Hell even the last Single Shot I had was almost too much.

I did absolutely love Truth, however.

I not only thought that reaching Poo-bah status would make my reviews worth more, but my posts would be infallible. Live and learn.

Stopped by this weekend and 100% agree on VB Aftermath, I could take about 8oz and that was about it. I bought HOTS as well, anyone remember when this was a hype beer?

I haven't had HOTS in a long time. But I remember it being one of their best stouts.

I'll just say I have a newfound appreciation for That's What She Said. Wish they'd have it available more often. Even during the summer.

Anyone care to weigh in on Haze v Very Hazy?
Is there much of a difference?
Wondering if I order all Very Hazy since it's rated higher...

I've had HOTS recently and it's still very good and doesn't cross that line. I don't really buy any of their milk stouts anymore because you can't get singles, but I would still get HOTS, MOC, Fleeting Moment (love this one) and Impermanence. I've migrated towards drinking mainly barrel aged stouts, and stouts without lactose, so TH is generally an IPA and lager stock up for me

Double posting, but the OP came in as I was finishing my previous post.

If allowed, I would get a 4-pack of each. VH is pretty good, but it's never blown me away like Very Green or King Julius. It's definitely a different beer than Haze, but not enough where I'd be upset getting the OG over VH. Some people definitely love it, though

    Thanks!
Getting a case of the Green/Julius, and I was going to throw a case of Haze in, but the Very Hazy had me split it to 3 of the 4-packs each.
I might need to invest in a larger automobile to fit my order.
Poppin the cherry on the first visit to TH! So, inevitably, I'm getting tons of beers for friends and family too.

Did you consider getting one of those mixed cases as your 3rd case? It would be a good way to try out a bunch of different ones and VH will probably be included in a few of them. Can't go wrong with a case of Haze though

Very Hazy is good as expected but the Haze the last few months has been dynamite in my opinion. I definitely would not skip it.

Does anyone know if the core beer mixed cases of the core beers are filled with fresh cans as new batches get released? Or are they all pre-made ahead of time and are static until sold out?

For example if they release a new batch of Green and Julius this week, will the Dream Team mixed case have fresh cans or cans from when the mixed case was put on the website for order?

Good call...didn't even think about that. I'm going to order the fresh cases to be sure.

One: A really nice throwback. Really ugly pour though! I liked this one.
Free to Roam: The standout. This is excellent.
Juice Machine: Good, but really too big for me. Glad I tried it. Shout out to whomever gave me that rec.
Catharsis: One I'm glad I got, but didn't love it. Wife was really happy with it.
Julius (x2): Bigger body than I remember. Of course I don't drink a ton of TH, but I've always felt this was my favorite. Maybe I'm more of a Sap guy. Don't get me wrong, good beer, but like Juice Machine, a commitment in terms of volume.

Also, what's up with needing reservations for my kids? They can't just come in? I have to pay $10 each? I didn't get a reservation. I would have because I was a sucker on my first day of vacation. But it seems antithetical to, well, everything.

Interesting. In Deerfield I brought my wife and toddler but only needed a reservation for myself
