It’s been a tipsy Tuesday for me so far, so I went with a classic today.

Ballast Point “Longfin Lager.” So darn crisp and clean!

Good morning BAs! It’s almost (as I peck on my iPhone) 7am here, and finishing off my first glass of breakfast juice on the back porch overlooking the ocean - Firestone Walker’s “Mind Haze” IPA:



Overall, what I would call an “NEIPA Lite”, as it is barely opaque, thin body to the point of almost being watery, and exceedingly easy drinking with a tasty bitter lemony linger. I like!

Drove down to the “Old Town” section of Hilo yesterday. Found a craft beer bar selling, inter alia, a bottle of Duvel for $17 or a bottle of Chimay Blue for $37…we did not stop in for a drink…

Upon our return home before sunset, we were greeted by this full, double rainbow, looking east towards the Pacific:

Hey hey, have enjoyed the reactions to your gift boxes across the country. Sharing the wealth from “that” brewery 5 minutes away is sweet! Lol I’ll find you when I get there, it will happen. Btw: @RaulMondesi was pretty gracious posting that Genny traditional brew yesterday. That was very humorous… Raul is persnickety , and not too shy about it.

Dogfish Head 60 min from the bargain bin. Brewing a German style Pilsner today to help combat the summer heat.
I love cheap discounted beer!
Still tastes just fine. Mar 2022 on bottle for a buck fidy. Can't beat that!

 

Closest thing I have to a stange glass. Nice opener, my taste buds were already worked by the time I got to taste it yesterday. Cheers y'all!

At the Airport, don't believe I will purchase any more beers at XNA. Sierra Nevada Tropical Torpedo. I could buy a sixer and have a nice chunk of change. Live and learn
