    Greetings advocates!

While this mid morning here is still sunny, mild and pleasant, the afternoon should be more cloudy, and rainy toward the end of the day.

I’ll probably have more than one today, the Tour de France begins this Friday in Copenhagen, Denmark by the way. Knowing the love of Danes and Dutch or Belgian for this sport and cycling, I believe there will be massive crowds over there.

St Bernardus Tripel? Si, por favor!

    Cheers…

La Goudale IPA, fine beer and as predicted by the weatherman the sky isn’t clear anymore.

Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for opening today's festivities - glad you've got an enjoyable beer or two!
Beautiful weather here - but a bit chilly - currently 53 and the rest of the week is predicted only into the low 80s. So far the garden is doing well - shortly the zucchini roots should be bursting into their deep compost store and my diet will change - zucchini salads, zucchini fritters, zucchini soup, zucchini BBQ, zucchini bread, zucchini and beans, zucchini stir-fry, zucchini ad infinitum. And the bitter melons, lemon grass, and tomatoes are off to a sweet start. This Year I refuse to leave the area for more than two days until after harvest time!
Today's New Breakfast Beer is from the local-est brewery which I've been avoiding because I've been trying to give them time to become decent. After two years I was forced (I say FORCED!) by Mrs. Lizard to go there for lunch Monday. As I feared the beer was mediocre, including the BBA doppelbock I brought home (they also had a BBA kettle sour I refused to try).

Pretty bad, mostly a waste of a bourbon barrel: rating 2.85, rDev 0% (First review)

Update:. Desperate Times Black Forest Schwarzbier.
I contacted the brewery & they reached out to me.
Apparently, they had this problem with 2 cases of another beer as well and a couple of cases of this. They are supposed to be pulling the infected stock, however I could find no dare or lot number?
They are refunding my money which is very professional of them.
They obviously must have a problem with their canning line.
It'd probably be best to avoid Desperate Times in the future until they figure out why their beers are getting infected.
For you beer nerds out there, Sour Shwarzbier is NOT a good thing!
I know many of you would pay extra for a travesty like this, but stay far away, it was really gross!

Speaking of the Lord, I stopped by Trinity College to interpret another page of the Book of Kells here in the long room.
Then stopped to pay my respects at The Church of St. Augustine and St. John the Baptist.

I continued my pilgrimage to the Guinness Storehouse and stopped for a ham and cheese and a pint.
I was told many of the neighboring pubs draw a better pint of Guinness than is available at the Storehouse. So, for science..

    Slainte!

A world-class saison, probably one of the best there is this early evening. It’s been chilling in the fridge since this morning and is at the right pouring temperature. I used to be able to find Boulevards Tank 7 but that’s no longer the case:

Found this marzen in my cellar stash - canned 7/20/21 - still tasting great! Looking forward to the upcoming fest and Okto-fest bier season!

Bike ride done, caught two bluegill on my morning fishing excursion. Today's tasty'n delicious beer is another "left behind" by the Minnesota aliens who invaded. 3 brews of the brews were from Lupulin Brewing, Big Lake, Mn. Good, but too sweet, way too sweet, especially as it warms. [IMG]
.....IMHO, half the coffee, half the cocoa......don't add junk to beer.

@jzeilinger The beer yesterday did look and smelled like Mountain Dew. But certainly didn't taste like it. I bought it because I love Mountain Dew, was royally disappointed. Cheers!
