    Well, I can't find a thread started by @AzfromOz so it looks like I may start the thread today. Looks like another beautiful but cool day here on the tundra of NW PA - currently 63 degrees and heading to 85 and sunny, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Today's New Breakfast Beer is disappointingly good:

    So well-made and seamlessly blended that there are no distinct flavors or aromas noticeable, other than the light bourbon notes. Distinctly a sipper, to be consumed in front of a fireplace while reading "War and Peace" with your dog lying at your feet, or for me, sitting in front of my computer watching "The Last Drive-In" on Shudder while holding a snapping turtle on my knee. Rating 3.65, rDev -15.9%.

    My recent trip to far north Queensland left me with a heap of memories, an empty wallet, and a particularly nasty strain of flu, so no beers for me at the moment. It has extended my leave from work by a few days but I'd rather be at work than feeling this shitty!

    I will gird my loins and have one tomorrow night and do my best to start a thread for you then. :sunglasses:

    Actually I'm running late today - Thursday is my laundry day so I start that before drinking my morning libation. But I always check for @AzfromOz's posts first since they're usually separated from the first of today's because they're from our yesterday.

    Sorry about the flu strain - probably migrated south from PRC. I'm looking forward to EVENTUALLY visiting Queensland - going north to the tropics seems humorous to me! Plus I'm queer for crocs.

    Yep, The International Date Line at 180 degrees longitude is half way around the world from the Prime Meridian at 0 degrees longitude at Greenwich, England. Flying into tomorrow or yesterday always blew my poor simple brain.

    Hello all and thanks @Ozzylizard for another thread here. Had fun Tues eve drumming then was outside working all day yesterday. Today is more mellow and I'm really digging this Surly Blast Beat Sultana IPA. Super fruity with an intensely long linger. Can reads "Fruity, Dank, Percussive." I don't find dankness but the beer is excellent NTL. I've thoroughly enjoyed the $16.99 Surly variety 12pk. Cheers!!
