Perfectly God awful week at work. Essentially doing the work of 2 1/2 people. Good news is I'm of Friday, Monday and Tuesday. Bad news is I'm traveling with Mrs. ATL6245 to see her side of the family over the weekend. You know that side. The one that doesn't drink any alcohol at all and frowns upon those that do. Oh well. This is a fantastic Saison from Blackberry Farms. I will go back for more! Cheers BA's!

The beers at Behr Brewing are bear-based (how’s that for alliteration?) Now drinking Winnie, an ESB. Nutty and bitter; not much caramel/toffee.

 

Another Stone IPA because, why not? I love when some of these new school breweries make a self-proclaimed old school WCIPA and it doesn't even have half of the bitterness of a beer like this. I appreciate the effort, but c'mon. This one is lemon peel and pine resin for days for me with just enough malt to keep everything in balance.
@TheIPAHunter the OG was a go-to of mine as well back in the day. That one and Ruination played a big part in shaping my love for hops.

 

Gonna be interesting to see how the sale works out.

Thanks bro. We're going to be not too far from Memphis. I'd love to sneak over there to check out the brewery scene but I don't think it will be in the cards. I'll be back in the saddle Monday for sure! Cheers!

Revolution DDH West Coast Hero



Sort of bummed I'm not considered a "Revolution VIP" for presale ordering of Deep Woods, hoping I can still grab a full allotment and other perks competing against the General Population.

 

I have a lot of respect for Mitch. Makes me wonder why they didn't just package the new recipe as something different rather than tweaking Stone IPA. That never works out, when you tweak something successful.
