    In honour of Friday, and especially for @Ozzylizard who noted my lack of International Date Line chicanery of late, I present WBAYDN.

    Still suffering from the flu that hitched a ride back with me from my holiday, but couldn't let a Friday slip past without a beer.

    This one is from Five Barrel Brewing from Woolongong, which is a city about an hour south of Sydney in a lovely part of the world on the New South Wales south coast.

    Enjoy your weekend everyone, and here's hoping none of you are battling this bug because while misery share is misery halved, I wouldn't wish this one on any of you!

    Drinking Hazy Jane from Brewdog, and have half of my bed and sheets on my cough because we’re gluing a new wallpaper in the bedroom hence the dire need of a beer break. :wink:

    Good day BAs! Thanks for starting today's thread @AzfromOz - glad you're feeling well enough to have a beer and start us off! Keep getting better!
    Well, I totally wasted yesterday - l sat on the couch and watched Star Trek TNG most of the day - a waste because it was a beautiful day, warm and humid. Today should be the same although there's a 25% chance of rain - I haven't mowed the yard for two weeks (literally) although other than the plantain there's little evidence of my willful neglect.
    Today's New Breakfast Beer is one I've also been neglecting:

    A decent doppelbock, particularly since it's nearly two years old. This is one the Einstok bar in Reykjavik didn't have when I was there last year - I had to go to Shangy's to find it! Rating 3.67, rDev -0.5%.

    Happy Friday BA's on this long weekend! Three hours of OT comp, errands with wife comp, 30 minute road ride comp, now joining @belvedere86 with a beer and Le Tour!! Rough conditions today for them, rain on a ~8 mile time trial thru city streets, Avg speed 30-32 mph, lots of painted lines to be weary of......SixPoint Pineapple Resin.........

    While July and the 4th are not my favorite time of year (too many idiots shooting off fireworks for days, causing undue stress to my pup!), am glad that I am able to enjoy each day as they come!
