Ghost beer listing?

    I was looking for a beer to drop a review on but it wasn't listed (not under the "active" or "all" for the brewery) so I added it.

    After adding it I left my review and submitted it. I then noticed that the extensive description of the beer in the "notes" section was populated when I had only filled out the beer name, style and ABV.

    More strangely it DOES say that it was added by me and today. But I did not include the "notes" section comprising the lengthy description from the brewer that auto-populated.

    What Beer? If you can provide the link for the beer, one of the Moderators can check the history (it may be that someone submitted an update with the description or one of the Moderators added a description.

    I'd bet a moderator was monitoring new additions and helped out with the description.

    I'll bet the same thing. I've had it happen to beers that I've added, even to the point of adding descriptive notes from the brewery's website for other beers that had no notes. Our mods are a great group of volunteers!

    Ya know...it would be cooler if we had agreed that the source of added infobwas a ghost.

    I mean how cool is a haunted website!!:scream:

    I never contradicted there being ghosts -- have you ever actually seen a moderator? :wink:
