Well the 4th of July is over. Fall things/back to school stuff starts to slowly hit store shelves and beer is no acceptation. I usually start this thread around this time every year so I guess I’ll do it again. Has anyone seen any Fall beers on shelves this year? Fresh beer not left over stock from last year. Cheers!

I received an e-mail earlier today from a local beer retailer, Von Trapp Oktoberfest is now out:

    “12oz 6pk Cans
    Von Trapp
    Oktoberfest 2022”

    Cheers!

That's great news as I'm flying into Burlington and hitting Stowe on Sunday evening before heading across the lake to the Adirondacks.

I've yet to see any of the Texas Oktoberfests but from what @beeragent posted in the South regional thread, Rahr will be pushing out as early as they always do in mid-July.

I just received an e-mail from a local beer retailer announcing:

    “12oz 6pk Bottles

    Warsteiner

    Oktoberfest 2022

    12oz 6pk Bottles

    Bitburger

    Oktoberfest 2022”

    Cheers!

TW Norfolk had both a pumpkin ale and a Oktoberfest out... checked the date on the Oktoberfest, it was def from LAST YEAR. Did not check the pumpkin but I'm sure it was the same, it was a very obscure one I remember drinking.

I got that same email this morning and was...quite surprised. This is the earliest I can recall for fall lineups. Don't get me wrong: I kind of hate summer and look forward to the cold months and the beers they bring, but ...really. There are places around here that have pumpkins and Octoberfests on their shelves but they are leftovers from last year (hopefully that's all). But Matt is scrupulous, plus he showed 2022 dates.
So now I too expect the winter offerings to show in August/September.

Stopped in the local big likker retailer today -- no Fall seasonals in sight. Whew.

Was at Civil Life last week and the person working the bar said their Oktoberfest probably will be out first week of August.

    Thank goodness!
I love me some Oktoberfest beers!
Nobody releases them as Märzen anymore.
I'll take them when I can get them.
Y'all can keep the pumpkin spice beers. Have at 'em. I do however love a true non spiced Winter Warmer or Strong Ale.
Hopefully some Weizenbock gets made by someone I can get ahold of this year. Do you hear me Victory?

I freaking love Penn! My favorite Pa brewery, except for the nut roll & chocolate whatever. Never saw that one here in Harrisburg. You got me drooling.

If you have a relationship with a local beer retailer(s) maybe ask them to order some for you?

    Cheers!

Spaten, Paulaner, and Hacker-Pschorr Märzens are still my go-tos for the season. No luck finding them in Harryburg?
