Nice, clear, light gold body; sparse, slow-rising carbonation; fair head, white and sudsy; small flecks of foam stick to the glass. Excellent aroma comprised of grassy, herbal notes; nutmeg and coriander. Outstanding taste; lively herbal notes; white pepper; coriander, ginger, lavender, cinnamon; moderate, earthy sweetness; very low-key bitterness. Generally light body; crisp with light coarseness; tingly on the palate; semi-dry.

Listed under the brewery's 'Belgian' lineup of beers - as a 'table beer', this offering offers some incredible taste for a low alcohol beer. Unique and refreshing.

    Pouring temperature: 42 °F; crowler canning data: 7/5 (2022)

Rained again last night. We've had more rain so far this year than the last three combined. Even with all this rain, it took till yesterday to end our drought status.
    Anyhoo, I'll drink to that.

A great beer that is hard to get out in the boonies.

Done working for the day thanks to a little perk we get from July 4th through Labor Day weekend. We can take 2 hours a week off with pay without using vacation time so I took an hour today and am taking another hour tomorrow afternoon. I don't do frosted mugs very often, but this beer benefits from being icy cold so a frosted mug it is.

Chores mostly done…drinking a new to me island beer - Honolulu Beerworks’ “Hop Island IPA”:

Hopped with CTZ, Amarillo and Citra.

Pours deep gold with ok clarity; tight white head leaves a little cap retention and solid ring; some spots of lace. Nose is lemon grass and pine; more dull earthy hops as beer warms. Bitter dull hop entry; lemon and pine; firm malt base; kinda flat earthy hop finish. Medium light body, moderate minus carbonation; no warmth from 7% abv; no astringency. Overall, an average WCIPA; no issues, just fairly blah with a dull bitter hop aftertaste.

    3.75 | 3.75 | 3.75 | 3.75
    Score: 3.75 rDev - 3.8%

Light rain has cleared, the sky overcast…a good day to make a dump run. Cheers y’all!

It makes the overall enjoymentc10x better, something stupid, corny and over priced glassware can and will NEVER do!

Been enjoying following your travel @Beersnake1! Thanks for your posts.
Trying a regional Tripel today, Munkle Tripel out of Charleston, SC a spin. Misses the mark that the classic Belgians give us as it was more Phenolic and heavier bodied than what i look for which is Estery and light bodied. Rated it a 3.57.
    Cheers!

Finishing the last of my Cherry Chouffe, rated it a 3.83, will not get again. To quote a favorite from yesteryear, courtesy of Steve Gaines and Ronnie Van Zandt:

I tried everything in my life (Uh-huh)
The things I like I try 'em twice
    You got that right
    You sure got that right
