I'm drinking a Jever Pilsener

 

We live on the edge of a very small town, so we do have alot of wildlife. Not too many snakes, but on our property I've caught garter snakes, bull snakes and racers. We also have green grass snakes and prairie rattlers in the area. We have a 5' bull snake that seems to like our place. I think he has been caught 6 times. His name is Sammy.

Grilling chicken breasts for dinner. Drinking Cheetah. Have to wait a bit to put the second one on since it's waaay smaller. I'll eat the large one...the mrs. won't mind

If you look up “the opposite of a hazy” in the beer nerd dictionary, there’s a picture of this beer. Shockingly bitter and more than a bit dank, this is a WCDIPA on PED’s. This ranks up there with fresh Dreadnaught and Permanent Funeral, IMHO.

That’s right, I typed that. A sledgehammer of a beer that I absolutely love.

 

EQ/Civil Society collab TIPA. Citrus rind, pineapple, almost spicy hop note. Alcohol is present with a slight hop burn, neither of which are off putting. Bit of an enigma for me. Hop burn, obvious alcohol presence, and TIPA are usually a recipe for me to hate this. Nevertheless, this is actually very enjoyable. Cheers all, one more day to go til the weekend.

Sounds great. I feel like I don't really know what happened to 3 Floyd's . . . like, they shut down, or only their taproom? They've somehow become a sort of mystery in my mind.

 

Warpigs' The Apparition Tripel Ale...........Very good, good balanced flavor, but a lot there.

 

Knew the Urquell had em beat!

 

The Way Life Should Be

 

They shut down their taproom at the beginning of the pandemic, and I doubt they reopen. But they still brew a LOT of beer, and release a fair amount of new beers, like this one. They even recently released a Hefeweizen.

That is not a typo.

And I’m hearing rumblings about DLD. We’ll see.
