I like several of those movies, High Plain’s Drifter probably my favorite, but Lonesome Dove miniseries is my favorite

Me too HPD was great. I just love some of the voice overs and the kitsch in those. Plus they had some cool actors like Lee Van Cleef. That dude was badass

Westerns, I love the Outlaw Josie Wakes & The Long Riders is one that is well worth checking out ( Carradine (sp? ) Brothers for starters

Just popping into LNBA. Enjoying a beer that I had early in my journey and thought a bit too hoppy. Years later I am a big fan. Colorado's own Station 26-Juicy Banger IPA- Certainly not juicy in the NE sense and way more left coast leaning. Sorry cannot find file foto, instead here is my smirking friend.

Thanks, Jeff! Yeah.....my main issue is trying to work on 2 mahogany boats at the same time! This one and the 1960 Norsk Nutshell - whose hull is made up of 5 plys of cold molded African mahogany! Was hoping to take both to an Antique Boat Show (in late August) I do every year, may have to "manage my expectations" on that! Haha!

 

Thanks! It is a slow process.....the hull is made of birch veneers, trim and seats are solid mahogany - LOTS of sanding! Once varnish hits that wood, it will look super cool!

Yeah, I love The Kinks. I finally found an original US Village Green(or close to it, sometimes catalog numbers are the same for multiple years in a row, early Reprice albums did that a lot) pressing. I go overboard on collecting sometimes, but that was always one I wanted in my collection and never found until a few weeks ago...had to get it.

Grew up watching westerns, love this scene.
