    Morning future UK PMs.

So much going on it makes me hurt. Abe assignation attempt (currently), etc.

Cannot go to sleep so listening to music and enjoying my last for the evening I surmise.

Howdy @barneyrubble and thanks for kicking things off!

I used to work in politics and was surprised there weren't more attempts on lives given the relatively lax security afforded politicians in Australia. I remember one time a fire alarm went off and everyone in Parliament House from the Deputy Prime Minister to the lowliest janitor just stood around on the side of the road while the fireys did their thing. Anyone could have driven past with malicious intent and wiped out most of our representatives. Thankfully I was evidently the only one thinking that!

Anyway, tonight we head to Belgium for Brasserie de l'Abbaye des Rocs Speciale Noel, a Winter Ale that perfectly suits this shitty, wet and miserable mid-winter evening in Oz.

    Cheers!

AUS. Beautiful country and people that I only got to visit for a few days a few decades ago. I was an oenophile then and enjoyed some nice vino, sadly the Fosters that was popular did not do it for me, of course.

    Good morning/evening @barneyrubble and @AzfromOz!

Just have opened Gouden Carolus Tripel which is a world-class triple in my book. Take into consideration that Tripels are my second favorite style behind Stouts though, but seriously this is outstanding.

Yep. Lose BoJo and maybe lose Abe. There has been multiple assassination attempts on politicians here too over the past decades including the current President, but a bit of a clownish plan by a number of older folks unhappy with his retirement pension reforms to try and stab him. duh, meh and sigh, I believe that killing someone even a nasty politician won’t resolve shit and we’re all or almost in the same playbook anyway.

Anyhow the beer in question and bellow a drawing I did yesterday evening:

Trying to draw a portrait of a random person for an amateur like me is always hard, I give more efforts into it than I used to, and have learned some other tricks while taking classes… it is what it is.

    Cheers!

Good day BAs! Thanks @barneyrubble for starting today's thread - too bad the news about Abe doesn't apply to Putin instead. Otherwise yet another beautiful day here on the NW PA tundra - will be in the 80s (temperature, not decade!) and 92% humidity - both my garden and I bloom in this weather. Went to the county fair two days ago, primarily to visit the poultry. There was none - apparently the state has the birds in quarantine because bird flu, so no poultry beauty contests.

Nice work, @Shanex . You are really getting portraits of people down. I can't draw a darn thing and I truly do wish I had half the talent you are showing. Keep it going.

Happy Friday BA's! OT done and a few errands run. The wife wanted to place the landscape rocks that I washed last weekend, so "we" did. Now enjoying a Pseudo Sue while prepping lunch.

Excellent solid black appearance topped with a dense, creamy, khaki colored head; nice sheets and rings of foam inside the glass. Okay aroma; a bit subdued yet touches of vanilla, cocoa, and a trace amount of coffee. Rich, sweet flavors; milk chocolate with a bit of espresso; light coffee bitterness and light touch of alcohol offsets the sweetness near the finish. Heavy body; dense and velvety; sticky residual sugars.

I like the balance and complexity of this beer. Other than a rather weak aroma, everything from the appearance, taste and, especially, the mouthfeel are wonderful to experience.

Good evening! Ran another half marathon this morning and then went to the beach on the Mediterranean. Super hot, but the water was perfect.

Starting my day with a surprisingly good looking cheap beer. No offense squire but when's the last time your bud had a head that maintains its shape above the rim.
