There are lists of collaboration breweries and sponsors on 6 pack holder sides and beer label. Also states “brewed and packaged by Kansas City Bier Co.”

Just finished my first Pizza Champ experience. That place is dangerously good, and my wife didn't yet catch on that I'm there for the beer.

it’s perfectly normal to get a $60 bottle of hot pink-waxed BA imperial stout for an after lunch digestif right?

Loved Adjudicator. Is Content Moderator also a corn lager? If it is as good as you guys say it is…

yes, it’s literally the same beer but lagered longer. Adjudicator is the young, unfiltered version.

Following up. I thought it was very good and I really enjoyed it. A very well done fruited wild ale. I have a very small sample size with the Pulling Nails series; #14 yesterday, #13 back in December '21, and #3 twice (12/2015 and 9/2016). No tasting notes for #3 except a picture of the beer and where it was.

As always for me and these SP beers it's going to be about the acidity. No issue here for me at all. A lot of times that first glass is a breeze then it catches up to me on pour #2. That didn't happen nor did I feel any ill effects well after the bottle was gone.

I liked it more than #13, which I also enjoyed, but having that recently and looking at my notes, acidity stood out from that experience.

Excellent color on that first pour. Love the fruit character in this too. Bright berry as opposed to jammy fruit. Both (raspberry, blueberry) really came through as pleasant tartness, little bitterness, and quite dry. Chambourcin adding a bit of vinous depth. Maybe hints of funk on glass swirls, but fruit was the standout.

Your take on the lower acidity has me optimistic for this one. I found CdC b9 a bit too much, which surprised me a bit after b8.

Yeah, your mileage may vary, but I hope it turns out well for you. Usually doing these solo I get a good barometer of the acidity. If the first glass is rough for me I know I could be in for some trouble by the end. I drank this over about 2-2.5 hours and found it to be consistently mellow.

I’m hoping/planning to open CdC9 this week. I’ll certainly report back with my acid trip.

PN14 definitely higher on the funk than the fruit and acidity. i’m thinking we have that SARA collab foeder to thank for that.

CdC9 i was disappointed with but maybe i approached that bottle the wrong way. for those opening that one, i’d recommend straight from the fridge.

CDC9 isn’t anywhere close to as good as CDC1 was.

the real question is PN14 anywhere close to what PN8 was?

Never having nor will likely ever have #8, but quite different beers relative to the descriptions/process for each. Seems like an unfair comparison.
