Below is from Rev's post/event on FB:

"Online presale begins Tuesday, July 19 for pickups on Friday, July 22.
Coconut Deth finally sees the light of day after a long stay as one of our most-requested Deth’s Tar Variants. We’ve taken a long look at different coconut products and techniques (and produced one excellent draft variant) and we’re finally ready to let loose upon the world.
Thundertaker returns, brought to life with hand-selected premium barrels from the bourbon experts at Binny’s.
Lumberstruck is a new concept, marrying unique beers to absolutely breathtaking barrels outside of our usual inventory. The inaugural edition features a Black Barleywine (sweet like a Barleywine, inky black like a Stout) sent to age in Saxum Vineyards red wine casks.
Coconut Deth will get distribution in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, and Minnesota. Thundertaker will see limited distribution throughout Illinois and Lumberstruck will be Taproom only.
    Prices and Limits (Proxies Allowed)
    Coconut Deth– $40 four-pack (Limit 3)
    Lumberstruck – $30 four-pack (Limit 3)
    Thundertaker – $30 four-pack (Limit 2)

The Revolution Brewpub (2323 N. Milwaukee Ave.) will have all three release beers pouring at noon on release day. Draft variants will be available during the release only at the Revolution Taproom (3340 N. Kedzie)."

$30 for Thundertaker, same as before, after everything that's been going on the past two years? And $30 for Lumberstruck? Wild value.

I'll just have Depends on until they are announced, to be safe.

Is there a crowler volume rated Depend variant?

I would recommend double diaping it- 1st layer should be Depends Beer Festival Defense for all day protection and the 2nd layer should be Depends XL Draft Guard for heavy stream days.

Ah, smart choice. The wax dip gives it ultimate protection. I hear it's a PITA to get off though.

I moved to the Caribbean (Bonaire) and it's been over 3 months since I had a barrel aged beer. I can't imagine what drinking one of these will be like after a drought like that. My head may simply explode.

My proxy for this first release is beyond magical. I managed to coerce a friend from Chicago who is visiting us in August to both be my proxy and bring the cans in her checked bag. Huge thanks to Rev for allowing proxies and having a big pickup window so I don't feel quite so bad asking someone who is most definitely not a beer geek to do all this for me.

There really needs to be a better place online to connect people visiting an island with folks on the island who need stuff from the states. I can't survive on Dutch beer and gouda alone.

I'm crying barrel aged tears that are gently falling onto my barrel aged gut. Would you like me to jar them and mail?

Seriously though, pretty cool of your friend to do that. I know I'd be hitting up a friend to do the same if I made that kinda move. I think I can speak for everyone here when I say we're looking forward to the Caribbean themed boss pour Coconut Deth photo you'll share with all of us.

Also, you should change your location on your profile!

Fixed it, although the best I could do was set it to the Netherland Antilles which is something that hasn't existed since 2010. Time for BA to update its country list. Companies having old country lists is a problem; I couldn't get my credit card company to ship to me since their list was out of date too.

Would drinking Coconut Deth out of an actual coconut be a boss pour? I've got plenty on the trees and on the ground in my yard but no way to open them. Time to find someone with a machete I can borrow.

While it may seem like an excellent idea, I strongly suggest NOT opening up coconuts by having someone fast pitch them at you while you use an axe as a bat.

I’ll be in Chicago this weekend, so guess I need to snag some of this Coconut Deth. Assume this isn’t insta-sellout stuff, is it?
