What beer are you drinking now? #3553

I had a blocked nose yesterday, so decided to go cheap with the Schultenbrau IPA. Got some basic IPA flavour and wasn't able to detect much else, but it's more about the company you drink with sometimes.

 

Straight up Nelson 7.8% on a gorgeous morning. Some wild storms yesterday, the garden loved it. This little lady is 10 today. Cheers all

Today's New Breakfast Beer is one I've had several times, but never reviewed until today:



Delicious but on the ugly side - distinctly a sipper: rating 4.31, rDev -1.1%.

 

One more while I get some stuff accomplished and we figure out the plan for the day.

Have a few more of these in the fridge and it's already 84°F but feels like 97°F and they're calling for highs to reach into the 90s.

Hello there Advocates. Thanks @Shanex for todays thread. A heat wave is headed my way as well this wknd. I'll be drumming outside in it on Sunday afternoon. Fortunately in a large open pavilion with a roof. I also have to get my drums 300 yards from the road to the stage using a 2 wheeled cart as it is a state park. 6 trips with that. Lots of fun? Yes! Pain in the ass? Yes! In need of a brewskie just thinkin' about it? Damn straight. Summit Triumphant. One of my faves. Great to be here. Cheers everyone!

Good morning BAs! It rained like holy heck all night, and forecast calls for more all day, the rain coming from the leading edge of what’s left of hurricane/TS Bonnie - drinking Ola Brew’s “Kiawe Vanilla Porter”:



Vanilla, yes, but I’m still getting a tinny metallic flavor in the aftertaste. A break in the rain earlier about 6:15am so I scampered about and fed the goldfish and the 4 Koi ponds, and checked all the electronics and water sources…the river that flows though the property is full, and the waterfalls are gushing strong:








I need to head into town for a few supplies (read beer run) today…hope to be back later. Cheers and Aloha y’all!
