Stout email - quite the can/bottle line-up! Thought BA Disintegration II was a highlight of Green City - hope to try the two versions of Grand Inquisitor

anyone have thoughts on spectacle? Really enjoyed the one can I’ve had so far - fresh cut pineapple, orange juice. On the other hand my wife said it tasted like tires, so…

 

Thought it was tasting mega green when I had a can last Friday. Might crack one tonight and report back.

 

Interesting! My first was Tuesday - not sure if those extra days made that much of a difference, but I didn’t (in the moment) find it notably harsh

 

I had it on tap last weekend at ET and felt it was a bit greener than I was expecting. Cans I’ve had gave a much juicier flavor.

 

Is anyone else impatiently awaiting an email from Twelve Percent?

If yesterday was a soft open, I think we're pretty understaffed for today - considering we're dropping 4 cans at around 12-1pm today

 

There's a pretty spectacular brewery crawl starting to line up along the Babylon Branch. A bunch of spots right by stations. Really excited to get out there hopefully soon.

 

Must be getting good output to last to Sunday. It's a haul for me, especially without online ordering to be sure stuff will be there, but I might try next weekend to pick up stuff for guests and a wedding I'm going to. I figure they can't put out any hype cans above and beyond their current hype so I'll hope it's all doable, right until @xenjoiii releases some glassware and it's game over lol. That said great lineup. The dad in me loves seeing some stuff under 8 percent! If it's like the quality at ETNYC it'll be worth it.

 

I did a good amount of brewing leading up to the opening. We did not want to run out of anything opening week.

If you've got growlers, bring them. Castle and Prima are tasting great.

Ironically I gave growlers away due to covid, since I was moving etc and I didn't want to crowd things up! The pre-orders sounds great. I know online ordering costs you guys something, so that's appreciated and will definitely encourage me to find a way there, at least once in a blue moon. I mean I don't want to drive nearly 2 hr each way, get the Verrazano toll and see an empty fridge! Well congrats. Enjoyed my last Bone in Throat today. Definitely going to see about this coming weekend. Might end up being a couple times a year thing, but quality is quality and I know my friends/in laws would enjoy it, especially any pales and single IPAs because children have no compassion for double IPA enjoyment come 7am the next morning. Nor does my liver anymore! Guess I'll have to fish for a growler if I can make it!

 

Just out of curiosity, are you doing counter pressure filling or does any growler work? I got one of those really nice Hyrdoflask growlers years back but then it seemed like none of the breweries in the city would fill it

We're only filling glass. It is impossible to tell when the growler is properly filled in those steel growlers.

 

Placed a preorder for all 4. I’m stoked. What’s the word on the new releases? Any standouts or favorites? I’m looking forward to trying prima and castle on draft. Gonna have to dust off the ‘ol growler

 

Has anyone gotten an email for the second round release at Twelve Percent? Any idea when they might be expected?

 

Is the pre-order you are referring to the 4 beers they released this weekend that are available on their web site now?
