    Greetings, all,

    Sunny weekend. Got up to the high 80s yesterday, mid 80s today.

    No new beers for me today, but I had a little bottleshare with two dear friends yesterday.

    Virtually all the beers were local and regional (a Kolsch, a blueberry sour, an "Italian Pilsner", a WCIPA) on the undercard, but the main event was a compare/contrast between these two Belgian Quads.

    I've had St. Bernardus Abt 12 a number of times. I believe it is my highest scored review on BA. Westvleteren 12 absolutely beats it. I was too busy having fun with friends and playing with their awesome dog to do a formal review, but the sheer depth of flavor in the Westy was incredible. My thanks to @Rub_This_BBQ for the bottle, delivered to me as part of the most recent NBS BIF. It's a beer with a lot of hype that is, in my opinion, absolutely deserved.

    Everyday I can manage it is a WCIPA tasting day for me.
