Shot #2 and I do not recommend this brand of tequila, for a $50 Anejo it's hardly fit for a shot.....however this Freak of Nature is tasting great!!

My guys at work called me in to hear this song on pandora today...and I thought of y'all friends.....

Honolulu Beer Works - ***** Grabs Back Extra Pale Ale

 

Ooo wow. I really miss Epiphany. Can never find it fresh here and its shelf sitter. I have no idea why because its truly a "Maine" Ipa...like a great combo of East and West Coast IPAs

 

Looks like I did not make it to the Veil brewery this week so will have to make due with what is left in the refrigerator. This is one of the better session beers I have had lately.

Drove about 300 miles round trip today for my wife’s dentist appointment and a visit with old co workers. Dr said her teeth were as healthy as a horse’s, kind of took offense when I said “ ok Mrs Ed let’s go home”

 

Holy shit!
After working in the restaurant all week and I finally get my day off the first thing I think of for some reason is a really good burger. And that my friend is the burger Im dreaming of.
Also my traditional shift beer is Miller High Life. I put that sucker in the ice machine 30 mins before I leave. Gotta be ice cold.

 

So much for me "trying to not go out as much" ha. Back at Johnny's Gold Brick, not for a $2 Old Fashioned, but a $5 Gimlet ha. Which hit the spot on another 100+ degree day.



Over to a new higher end Vietnamese spot, Moon Rabbit. I usually go to Hughies. as they are amazing, well priced, and a great local family. Though I had to finally take the plunge and try this new spot. Its..well pretty damn good. All around more expensive than Hughes, but not to a detrimental effort.

Shrimp Vermecilli bowl is pretty good, with a Saint Arnold Art Car IPA. Not pictured is a damn good Paloma There is room enough for slightly more elevated Vietnamese, and the Hughies down home, beer bar Vietnamese.

Nice! I seen a Bitburger variety pack that had Bitburger Festbier and the Pils in it today. Almost grabbed it but I'm waiting on others to show up. I bet more will be popping up soon.
