12 cases of Thundertaker on the floor at LP Binny’s. Doesn’t appear to be a limit, I grabbed one. Have at it, ya scoundrels.

 

I'm guessing No limit at SL Binnys. Just seen someone purchase a case.

 

Two 4packs of Thundertaker at Highland Park Binny’s when I arrived. One when I left.

 

Walked over and grabbed another Lumberstruck (and Thundertaker) at the pub. Future me will probably be mad that I still held back but didn't want to be greedy. Selfishly, I wish the pub was always an option since I live so close but I understand why not. It would be nice to throw some variants over there once in awhile though.

Any idea with the stock situation on Lumberstruck? I missed out on everything, got Thunder at Binny’s. So it’s the only one I’m looking for. When I went by around 12:10, there was a line out the door and I just didn’t want to deal with that.

 

The line must have dissipated quickly, I got there at 12:15 or so and walked right up to the takeout counter. They had about 5-6 cases of each variant stacked behind the counter at that point.

 

Is this on the draft list or did you sneak into the back again to start sampling barrels?

 

Thundertaker.... don't know if it's better or equal to last year, but it's delicious. Definitely chocolatey notes, rye spice complimentary. Barrel aging showcase without going over the top or boozy. Medium feel (for a stout) and approachable for single can, which is great. I like thicker stouts too but it's nice also when you don't feel like you're eating dinner out of a bottle. I loved the first batch and this one just the same.

 

were they filling crowlers? not until monday yea?

My favorite game of this release was informing people that (based on the actual description at least) Supermassive Coconut doesn’t contain coffee and is just Coconut Deth with double/supermassive amount of coconut. Lots of people going “oh I don’t get the coffee at all” and some “the coffee is so good with the coconut”

 

Wish I had the chance to try it. My favorite of the 3 I gpt to try was Deth N Roses.

 

If anyone is going hunting, Binny’s St Charles had a few cases left on the floor at 6pm. 1pp per day

 

It's nice to see Binny's seems to have had a nice supply of Thundertaker across their stores. Hopefully, anyone locally who missed out on the preorder was able to snag one.
