Best believe I was on the look out for some earlier.

 

Severance Cocoa Slumber Party Barrel Aged Fudge Stout, 10.1% ABV.

Sounds better than it is. Hardly any bourbon or cocoa, more bitter than sweet.

 

I had a Stradivarius Trumpet, I sold when I went to college. That bought me a car and a computer ha. I still have my old practice trumpet that is perfectly fine, and worked for my on again off again interests in playing while in college. Well, now, it needs a complete cleaning, cause I haven't used it in about 15 years. Though my nephew seems to enjoy trying to make sounds from it .

I also gave a half hearted try to find some of my old Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers albums with Chuck on them. Though, they seemed to be buried somewhere ha.

Edit: Chuck is playing on this live album with Art, from The Lighthouse. Its excellent, from the late 60's (wish I could find this one in my piles somewhere).

 

Hypercolor New England IPA from One Barrel. Just got done putting together my new toy.

 

Needed the cool version of Sunshine.
97 today? Yeeesh.
I'll sip on this instead. No yard work for me today.

Last night I told Mrs. Mac that I had stopped at Bull n Bear Brewery on the way home from work and she remarked she hadn’t been there for quite awhile. So here we are. Hans Helles for me; Mango Contango for her. Cheers from blistering North Jersey!

 

Good afternoon BA's, a hot one south of Asheville with temps pushing 90.
Beer #1 is a wonderful Doppelbock from Andechs, just love the ester flavors in the brew, so vinous like!
Da Boss and i had a very nice day yesterday as we headed out to check out a few waterfalls, then onto the Blue Ridge Parkway, and ended up at Mount Mitchell State Park which is the highest point in the country east of the Mississippi.
Listening to an old favorite from my freshmen year in college.

Orval, all time favorite here.

Doin' Alright with Dexter Gordon. Love this album, its also a mid 80's Japanese pressing, and if you are into collecting records, and see anything from Japan just get it. This sounds so fantastic, their pressing plants were and are superlative.
