What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3564

Busy with a hike in the cool forest but now time for a beer break. Cheers

 

Quick morning beer which will hopefully help me get back to sleep after only 2 hours, awakened by heavy thunderstorms.

This bottle fell to the ground earlier, thankfully did not break, but leaked out a few ounces. Kept refrigerated and it is still as expected except for lack of creamy rich tan head, used up earlier.

Apparently there is a TV show that played Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill and vaulted it up to #1 on the charts. This song was originally called "A Deal With God", but the record company made her change the title to avoid the wrath of Tipper and her fellow Karens.

Rick Beato covered the song a few weeks ago, so that's how I learned about it's recent resurgence. I like a couple other of her songs, but she's an artist I am not familiar beyond a few songs. And that's the rest of the story.

 

Morning BAs. Seems I have the beginnings of a cold coming on. Weird, especially when the weather has been so nice. Oh well, guess I'll be taking it lightly for now. Dipping into the wife's beer (again).

Man, those TIPAs hit hard last night, had to sleep in a bit. Not a bad thing these days... just a walk for me today, need to relax, unwind, etc.

Have a good Sunday. Still sore after a nearly 10 mile hike yesterday in bent river park. There is way more trails to see next time. Mtbproject was amazing for us not to get lost, even though the trails are really well marked. Did over 1000 feet of climbing.

I was up at 7am after I passed out watching Futurama. Got some gas station beers friday night. Going to go to Sierra Nevada or New Belgium for lunch. Always love torpedo for a classic ipa.
