This may sound trivial & there is an easy solution, but I'm curious...

I have a hard time letting my beer warm up before I drink it. I keep my beer in the fridge (& don't have money or space for a dedicated beer fridge). Almost every beer, to me, tastes better with about a 20 minute warm up before drinking. But I just can't help myself. I almost always start sipping as soon as I take the beer out of the fridge.

There's something that compels me to pop open the bottle & start drinking immediately. I can't wait...can you???

    Yes, I can.

Can't you just take it out a little earlier? For example, I know that I'll probably want some sort stout or something that will need to warm a little after I finish dinner. I just take it out and pour it prior to dinner and by the time I'm ready for it, it's right where I want it to be.

I too have problems with putting my actual discussion topic in the subject of my threads.

    On topic, no, I don't, because I have self-control. Also a microwave.

Pour two, when I start the second pour the third etc.... till I pass out. If I still have issues I use a bigger glass and pour two in the first glass and then two in the second glass etc till I pass out. Any issues beyond that just grab a yard glass fill.... drink...... and soon the issue is forgotten......

c'mon nobody needs to be microwaving beer. For the OP's question, I don't really have that problem because I usually start with a low abv beer and if I have something else in the fridge i plan on drinking I pull it out early. In the winter months I unplug my beer fridge in my detached garage and have minimal space to store my beer. For the higher abv beers (which I generally want a little warmer) I will simply not refrigerate them and then just throw them in the freezer long enough to get them chilled prior to drinking them.

keep Coors Light in your fridge. Grab one of those first and slam it. Trust me, you won't give a shit about the first 2 or 3 drinks of the beer you really want to have afterwards. Problem solved.

If you honestly think I was advocating microwaving beer, given the sarcastic nature of the rest of that post, you really, really need to get your sarcasm detector inspected. I can give recommendations for a few good mail-order calibration services if need be.

As smartass as some of the finer people of BA are sometimes things just dont suprise me that someone would. You sir being highly regarded by Afrokaze seemed to fall into the latter category, so was being a smartass back.

    Cheers!

Pour the beer and enjoy it slowly as it warms up to get the full picture.

I have a beer fridge that stays at 45-50 degrees. But, before I had said fridge, I would remove the beer when I got home, and then go upstairs and change clothes and do whatever the hell I do when I get home, and then come down to the beer.

Otherwise I would not be able to wait.

I keep my lighter beers in the fridge, the ones I want cold. Everything else I drink from the cellar, at cellar temp. As someone else pointed out, a quick blast in the freezer will get it cold quickly if too warm... Though that can be the ultimate fail if forgotten.

Run the unopened bottle under hot water. Usually about a minute and your good to go.

Depends on the beer. Usually if I'm drinking solo it can be tough so I usually throw down a nice beer for lunch (I work from home BTW) so while working I won't suck it down so fast. But when I'm with buddies we're usually playing board games or bsing so it tends to warm naturally because I'm distracted. If I'm out and about I have many issues waiting, especially if I'm traveling and want to try as much as possible.

Fill your glass up with hot water and let it sit for a minute. Dump the water out then pour your beer in. It helps to have a thicker glass (more thermal mass). The reverse also works using ice water.

Make sure you have an adult present to help you.

This pretty much what I will do as well. Most times just running it under hot water works for me.
I to have a problem with self control/restraint.
Oh and CurtFromHershey is probably hitting that on the head with his comment (no pun intended).
