I was on the way out of the bottle shop yesterday with two four packs of Hop Juju when a mug and single 500mL can combo pack caught my eye.

That is one beautiful beer. I updated my review a bit as well. Cheers all!

 

Happy Sunday BA's! Three hours of OT, 25 mile bike ride, laundry done and grilling some Sockeye Salmon, while watching the final stage of this years tour. We all should be very proud of the 8 American riders that all finished the 2,070 mile race.

We made it to the destination. This place was like driving up to a mansion. Solar panels and stuff Plenty of people but upstairs bar is empty.





Sierra Nevada distillers grain bill barleywine. Fantastic blonde barleywine. Aromas and flavors of big apricot, coconut, red apple, golden raisin, honey, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, spicy rye, corn, herbal, floral, grass, yeasty earthiness. Lt med herbal/grassy bitterness and rye/oak spiciness on the finish. Medium plus carbonation and body. Balanced bready/grainy malt, sticky hop, and oak tannin mouthfeel. Long bitter/tannic drying finish. No cloying/astringent. Light increasing warmth of 12.1%. Mild lingering booze after the finish. I knew I had to hit a barrel series once off, amazing integration of barrel and whiskey grains. Nice hop balance with fruity yeast. Amazing style example, I've not had many blonde barleywine, but this is certainly one of the most complex. The lingering barrel finish is wonderful. 4.3

Rode some rough forest service trails yesterday for four hours in our FJ. Great day and only saw one other rig. A jeep from S. Dakota heading north as we went south. Drinking an IPA as I clean up our FJ.

Good afternoon, morning or evening Advocates! How for art thou? Thanks @SawDog505 for todays thread. I'm starting my day with this wholesome and fortified Konig Ludwig Weissbier. Stupid camera...It is absolutely brilliant with lime or lemon. Buttery smooth. Happy Sunday & Prost!

 

From New Hampshire. Chapel & Main Half Stack IPA. 5.1% ABV. I added it to the BA database today. Pretty typical for the modern IPA style. Nothing that stands out thought.
