Does this cause the beer to gush when you open it?

 

The Sara swirl? No it doesn’t actually. It doesn’t shake it up

I can’t seem to find the video anymore, but it really works

if you’re ever at sara and you order a bottle of the on-site list they do this before serving it

 

If you don’t think stout/barleywine blend when it’s ~100 degrees out, that’s your problem

Big nose of dark chocolate truffles, raisins, and vanilla on a backbone of oak with some barrel heat. Swallow delivers - serious chocolate to open with vanilla and caramel close behind; abv is there without stealing the show. I’d call the mouthfeel on point - not thiccc but don’t think that’s the aim here; coats the mouth nicely

Generational, a BA Vibes, freshly filled Anabasis, a half Quad and half Vibes ba beer, Toppling Goliath…and some blending…

 

why does it look like this blending session is taking place in the Black Lodge?

 

seems a couple months early for BBT as i recall those types of teases being in mid to late September the last couple years, but who knows.

i love how the collabs (Anchorage Forever Darkness, Half Acre Generational) end up getting brewed again and aged for blending in future SP beers.

anyways, on to the important questions: will LC get first dibs? will it be packaged in 375 or 750? will it be packaged with other sour beers?

 

That’s not OWK b2. OWK the recipe has been brewed a million times at this point.
