    Paul Sorvino was great in Goodfellas and all of the other movies he was in, especially when playing a gangster-like character.

    Coincidentally I watched Goodfellas just last weekend; as a rewatch but a first for Miss Shanex. She enjoyed it.

    It was on Prime Video maybe as sort of an homage to Ray Liotta who recently passed too.

    Excellent movie. Joe Pesci getting too upset or hot tempered before he could afford to.

    Also some hints of humor in the movie.

    This was “Tony twice” because he repeated everything:

    I’m gonna buy cigs.
    I’m gonna buy cigs.

    I also was just watching Goodfellas about a week ago. Damn good movie I even own the dvd. I like my crime flicks.

    Same same. I can’t pretend to have watched them all and even then some can be hit or misses.

    I can probably say I have watched the most important and the classics.

    Crime flicks or any other, much like music or beer there are very little genre I abhor.

    As a different American friend once told me: “The mind is like a parachute, it’s better when it’s open.”

    Crime movies and westerns are my shit. I agree with you there, I love to keep a open mind about all things. If you don't keep a open mind you'll be conditioned to your little box to much imo. Not healthy!

    A Crowler of Cox Brewing's Helles on Wheels.
    Not that good. Pretty bland actually.
    I thoroughly enjoyed the Maibock there, so I assumed the Helles would be decent. I was wrong.
    Either way, it'll help me get dinner made tonight.
    Lesson learned, try b4 you buy.

    Always a good one, England has some great breweries. Just ask @JamFuel what he thinks of Cloudwater for instance. :slight_smile:

    St Austell or Meantime brewing are some of my British go-to. Pretty sure @EmperorBevis approves of both.
