Given the rapid development of new beer brands, at least in the US, it will be interesting to see how many new editions of this book will be produced over the next 5-10 years.

    Cheers!

Looks interesting, I might check it out.

Anyone familiar with the experts? Do they think Coors Banquet is a light beer?

I don't know. I've read a lot of beer books, none of those names ring any bells. Maybe its a goof? I mean, one of the authors is "Joe Stange"?

Well, I don't read a lot of current UK beer books, magazines or articles ('cause I can't get a lot of UK beers) but I've heard of, own and read books by Pete Brown and Roger Protz and I know of at least one of the US based authors, John Holl.

Roger has been writing about beer for decades. Was fortunate to go on a tour he hosted in the early 90s ( saison breweries). It was an awesome trip

I have heard of several of the names.

Pete Brown and Roger Protz are old English guys so it can be expected they will recommend a lot of 'old school' beers which most BAs would not buy. Not a bad thing IMO but...

Jonny Garrett has an active Youtube channel Craft Beer Channel. He is English but quite different from Pete and Roger since he is not an old guy.

John Holl had written a lot of article for Craft Beer & Brewing magazine. An American and not an old guy.

    Cheers!

Claire Bullen is the editor of Good Beer Hunting, has roots in both the UK + US, and is younger; I'd say her contributions will be worthwhile.

Well if some of these “experts” are also “influencers” then count me IN!

For those interested - The video in the initial post is more of a synopsis, whereas the following dives into the selection process (e.g. what warrants book placement)

Sounds interesting but I'm more interested in getting beers than reading about them.
